Kent State defeats Central Michigan at MAC Tournament
The #4 seed Kent State baseball team (40-15) defeated #8 Central Michigan tonight by a score of 17-2 at the MAC Tournament in Chillicothe. Kyle Hallock was excellent on the hill for the Golden Flashes. Hallock went 6.2 innings giving up two runs on seven hits. Shortstop Chris Tremblay began the game with a home run and went 4 for 5 while Anthony Gallas had 5 RBI to lead Kent State. Kent State will play tomorrow at 4P.M. against the winner of the Miami/Central Michigan game that will take place tomorrow morning. Bowling Green and Ball State, the #1 and #2 seeds respectively, were both eliminated today.
