By admin Published: May 30, 2009

The Kent State baseball team lost last night at Arizona State 17-6, in an opening round NCAA Regional game in Tempe, Ariz.  Seniors Jason Patton and Greg Rohan guided the offensive attack.  Patton was 4 for 4 with 4 RBI and hit his 15th home run of the season.  Rohan was 3 for 5 with 2 RBI.  His home run cleared the "batter's eye" in center field, only the 24th player to do so in the 36 year history of Packard Stadium.

Kent State will play Cal Poly at 5p.m. EST.  Kyle Smith will pitch for the Flashes against DJ Mauldin from the Mustangs.  Fans can listen to the game at
