Kent State offers Cincinnati-area junior

Kent State has offered a scholarship to Cincinnati Colerain junior running back Tyler Williams, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Williams, who is 5-8 and 155 pounds, rushed for 893 yards and eight touchdowns for Colerain last season.

Colerain was co-champions of the Greater Miami Conference. Colerain, a top Division I program, has produced several college prospects over the past few years including current Flashes Brian Lainhart and Cobrani Mixon.

The school is located in suburban Cincinnati.
