Kent State softball rides six homers in double-header sweep of Ohio
Kent State's softball team hit six homeruns in yesterday's double-header sweep of Ohio University.
The Golden Flashes improved to 15-16, and a MAC East-leading 6-1 in conference play. The Record Courier's David Carducci has a great story on Kent State head softball coach Karen Linder's 617th and 618th career wins, which pushed her past her father's 617 wins as head baseball coach at Otterbein.
Kent State defeated Ohio 8-2 in the first game, and 3-2 in the second.
