KSU introduces Centennial Cup with BGSU
Kent State and Bowling Green are in talks to start a "Centennial Cup" competition starting next athletic year and going through the 2010-2011 seasons. Points will be awarded to the programs after every head to head meeting during those two seasons. During the celebration of KSU's 100 years, all athletic teams will wear a patch on their uniforms to display the centennial logo.

Softball's Kylie Reynolds won her 12th MAC East Pitcher of the Week award of her career today. It was the fourth this season. Over the weekend Reynolds went 3-0 and recorded a save during Kent State's 4-0 week. Reynolds struck out 30 batters in 22 innings and had a 1.27 ERA. Reynolds is now third all time in wins and shutouts in KSU history.
