Kent State Flashes

KSU Notes - October 21

By admin Published: October 21, 2009

The Kent State football team has a great opportunity in front of them this weekend in Athens.  They have a chance to play for a share of first place when they play Ohio at 2 p.m. on Saturday.  It's the reason you play college football, for a chance to compete for a conference championship.  It's something that hasn't happened for Kent State too often in late October.  The Daily Kent Stater previews the game with the Bobcats.

The Kent State field hockey team will travel to Michigan and play the Wolverines today in their final non-conference game of the season.

Women's soccer player Kellyn Flanagan has been a key contributor for the Golden Flashes this season.  The Wisconsin transfer is no stranger to northeast Ohio, after playing her high school soccer for the Medina Battlin' Bees.  The Kent Stater profiles Flanagan.
