KSU offensive lineman Kline signed as a free agent with Patriots, day after Winters drafted

By Stephanie Storm Published: April 28, 2013

Former Kent State offensive lineman Josh Kline signed with the New England Patriots as a priority free agent not long after the 2013 NFL Draft was completed Saturday evening.

The previous day, Kline's former teammate and Flashes left tackle Brian Winters (Hudson) was drafted in the third round (72nd overall) by the New York Jets.

The pair stabilized an offensive line that paved the way for a pair of 1,000-yard rushers in Trayion Durham and Dri Archer.
