KSU providing bus service for students to Cleveland for MAC Tournament

Kent State is providing three 55-seat buses to take students to Cleveland for every game the Golden Flashes play in the Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Tournament for just $10 per student per day.

To sweeten the deal in an effort to thank the fans, Golden Flashes coach Rob Senderoff personlly bought all tickets for the first bus and is giving them away free Tuesday on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students can secure a spot for all three potential dates at once or pick and choose which days they can attend (all payable in cash only). If students only sign up for Friday and/or Saturday and the Flashes do not advance, they will be reimbursed via the ticket office.

If students sign up for all three dates, they only have to pay for Thursday when they sign up and then pay for the additional dates if/when the team advances. Buses will leave the M.A.C. Center at 4:30 p.m. each day.

Students can sign up at the M.A.C. Center ticket office during business hours. A table will also be set up in the Student Center Tuesday from 11 a.m.-to-2 p.m. for students to sign up.

The fourth-seeded Golden Flashes open Mid-American Conference Tournament play at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Quicken Loans Arena. With wins they can advance to a 6:30 p.m. semifinal on Friday and the 6:30 p.m. championship game on Saturday.
