Mason's Gause headed to KSU to run track

Mason senior middle distance runner Olivia Gause has accepted a scholarship to Kent State to run track, coach Tony Affatato told the Cincinnati Enquirer.

 

Gaus, who is also a soccer standout, was part of the state champion 3,200 relay in 2011, the 3,200 relay which was fifth at state in 2012 and the 1,600 relay that finished fifth last season.

 

Gause, Mason's 800-meter record holder, was the district runner-up and GMC champion in the 800 run in 2012.
