Hamilton is Player of the Week
Senior Kim Hamilton was honored as the MAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Duke Track and Field Invitational on Saturday. Winning the women's javelin, her mark is good for first in the MAC and seventh in the nation. What's interesting about Hamilton was that it was her first collegiate track meet. She had been a standout center fielder for Karen Linder's softball squad the previous four years and played last summer with the Akron Racers.
