Kent State falls To 3-3 In MAC With 28-10 Loss To Temple
Missed offensive opportunities and the inability to stop Temple on third down spelled Kent State's doom on Saturday, losing 28-10 and erasing any real hopes at a MAC East title.
"They outplayed us today, really in every phase," a visiably frustrated Head Coach Doug Martin said after the game. "It was hard to match up both in size and strength. We didn't take advantage of opportunities we had early and forced some turnovers we didn't capitalize on--that's a set back, but we have three games left."

Martin's Plea for a Packed House and How Kent Needs Akron
Doug Martin is voicing a call to arms for this Saturday's matchup with Temple.
"The winner of that game is going to have a lot to say about who wins the MAC East Championship," Martin said on Saturday following the 33-14 defeat of Ball State. "We need everybody--everybody--here to help this football team get this thing done. We have got to have a home-field advantage next week. I'm hoping and praying people will come out and make this an exciting football game."
