Kent State Flashes
Pennsylvania WR Webb headed to KSU
The PIttsburgh Tribune-Review reported Tuesday that Clairton HIgh senior receiver Terrish Webb has verbally commited to play football at Kent State.
The story said Webb selected the Godlen Flashes over Toledo, Arkansas State and Temple and said he had also redevied interest from nearby Pitt and Connecticut.
“When I first went up there, it felt like it was someplace I could be for the next four years,” Webb told the Trib. “It felt like another home. I was comfortable up there.”
Last season, the 6-foot, 170-pound Webb hauled in 27 passes for 776 yards and nine touchdowns to help Clairton win its fourth consecutive WPIAL Class A championship and its third state title in as many years.
