Scott Stricklin not going to Michigan, all in with Kent State
Scott Stricklin said in a letter to fans that he and his staff are “all in,” putting a rest to the rumors he may join Michigan at least for the moment.
The eighth-year head coach of KSU first thanked the fans for their support during the run through the College World Series, mentioned the baseball banquet this Thursday night at 5:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom that’s open to fans and then addressed the rumors that Michigan was courting he and parts of his staff.
“I know some of you have been speculating that the coaching staff might be moving on after our historic season,” Stricklin wrote in the letter. “A certain school up North came calling and we decided that Kent State and what we have built here was too good to leave. We are all staying at Kent State and I can promise you that our administration, from the top down, is all in!”
