Stan Heath's South Florida program facing numerous NCAA violations

Stan Heath led Kent State to the 2001-2002 Elite 8 and a 30-6 overall record, going 17-1 in the Mid-American Conference before leaving after one season for Arkansas.  Heath is now the head coach at South Florida.  Kent State will travel to take on the Bulls next Wednesday, November 25.  According to this report, Heath's program at South Florida could be facing numerous NCAA violations.

Before Kent State plays at South Florida, they will host Rochester College on Sunday evening.  Sophomore forward Justin Greene has been very productive in the first four games of the season, averaging 13.3 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per game. 

The Kent State women's basketball will play at Marshall on Saturday afternoon looking to improve to 3-0.

Kent State baseball head coach Scott Stricklin recently did an interview with to discuss the Golden Flashes' baseball program.

Kent State volleyball players Arjola Prenga, Liva Brivule and Meredith Paskert were recently all honored by the Mid-American Conference.  Prenga was named first team All-MAC while Brivule was named second team and Paskert made the all-freshman team.

Kent State men's golfer John Hahn (Hudson) was selected to participate for the 35th annual Western Refining College All-America Classic, November 22-24 in El Paso, Texas.
