Wednesday is last day of Flashes pre-season camp
Wednesday's 10:15 am practice marks the official last day of Kent State's pre-season football camp.
But after taking Thursday off, the Flashes return to the field at Dix Stadium Friday to begin preparing for the season opener against visiting Towson Aug 30.
“The players are off Thursday and then come back Friday at 3 p.m. to lift and meet,” second-year head coach Darrell Hazell said.
With a short preparation week, the Flashes will treat Friday as their Sunday, Saturday as their usual Monday, etc.
In an effort to get a little ahead for the opener, the Flashes will begin to install the game plan for Towson today.
“That way when the players get back Friday, everything’s already in and we know what we’re running,” Hazell said.
