Order Thanksgiving food

By Lisa Abraham Published: November 14, 2013

This week is the time to put in any special orders for Thanksgiving food.
The butcher, the baker and the caterer all are happy to serve, but you’ll get the best they have to offer if you remember to order early.
Remember, many restaurants area closed on the holiday. Those that are open will require a reservation in advance if you want to dine there for the holiday. Phone your favorite to find out if it will be open. Keep in mind that restaurants that are open often will be serving buffet.
Many caterers, restaurants and grocery stores also offer fully-cooked Thanksgiving dinners ready to pick up and take home and serve. Just remember to put your order in by the end of this week.
