Ellet Meat Market up for auction
Dale Snider, owner of the Ellet Meat Market, has heeded the call of his wife to retire.
After 61 years in Akron, the market goes up for auction Nov. 1. (Snider, 71, has been there for 47 of them.
It's one of the few places left in the Akron area, where they cut meat fresh, and one of the few places you can actually see a hanging side of beef.
Auction is set for Nov. 1 at 5:30 p.m. There may be a buyer out there who wants to keep it going. Stay tuned.
