Farmers markets starting to close for the season

Seville hosts its last farmers market of the season on Saturday with a free concert by singer-songwriter Jim Gill  beginning at 10 a.m.

The market is open from 9 a.m. to noon, in Seville’s Maria Stanhope Park. Vendors will be celebrating Customer Appreciation Day with special deals a way of saying thank you for their support all season long.

Parking is available in the adjacent lot at Seville United Methodist Church, 74 W. Main St. The market is sponsored by the Seville Lions Club. For more, visit and

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 14, for the annual Seville Farm Market Holiday Market, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., indoors at Seville United Methodist Church. Vendors will offer unique foods, crafts and gifts for the holidays.

The Stow Community Farmers Market is will host its final markets on Saturday, Sept. 28, and Oct. 5, in the parking lot of Stow Community Church, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, behind the Briarwood Nursing Center betwee Englewood Drive and Baumberger Drive.
