Food show is coming to the Civic
Hey all -- make sure you mark your calendars for 7 p.m. Oct. 4, when the Akron Beacon Journal brings the Relish Magazine Cooking Show to town.
Tickets are on sale now. You can get them at the Civic Theatre box office in downtown Akron or through Ticketmaster.com.
Tickets start at $10 for general admission, $20 for reserved seating and $50 for reserved VIP seating, which includes a VIP reception and a most excellent goodie bag that includes a hard-cover copy of the Relish cookbook.
Beacon Journal readers are familiar with Relish magazine, which comes inside the newspaper on the first Saturday of every month.
The show is a fun, interactive stage show with lights and music and plenty of fun, fun, fun.
And, if that's not enough, there's a food expo beforehand, beginning at 4:30 p.m., where there will be plenty of vendors passing out samples and giving demonstrations and all in all this will be a foodie fun fest, so I hope to see you there!
