By Lisa Abraham Published: July 12, 2012

Rest in peace Marion Cunningham, who has died at age 90.

Cunningham was most famous for rewriting the Fannie Farmer Cookbook in the 1970s. It was revised in 1990 and 1996 in a special 100th anniversary edition of the book first released in 1896.

Here is a link to her obituary in today's New York Times.

Her tome of nearly 2,000 recipes is one for every cookbook collection as Cunningham was all about celebrating the home cook and the homey foods that are on American dinner tables every night.
