New breakfast sandwich coming to McDonalds
Look for the breakfast menu at McDonald's to offer a new product next month.
The Egg White Delight McMuffin is expected to be offered nationwide beginning April 22, after about six months of being tested in Atlanta and Austin, Texas.
The new McMuffin features egg whites cooked on a grill, white cheddar cheese and Canadian bacon on a whole grain English muffin.
It has 260 calories, compared to the 300 in a traditional McMuffin.
McDonald's also will offer the egg white as a replacement for a whole egg on its other breakfast sandwiches, including biscuits and bagels.
