New Burger Place at Summit Mall
The Ohio Burger Company, which specializes in single, double and triple burgers, all made from 100% local Ohio beef, is set to open in the Summit Mall Food Court on April 1.
The company also serves up fresh cut fries that customers can watch being sliced up, onion rings and loaded fries with chili, cheese and more. There will be more than 20 toppings for customizing burgers, as well as chicken and fish sandwiches.
The restaurant is a new concept by Ray Benne, who previously owned Cyber Pete’s Internet Café in Bedford. He hopes to add six more locations over the next three years.
“We’re all about being green and local,” Benne said in a news release. "Our burgers will be made of 100 percent beef raised within 30 miles of our location. We will also locally-source our ingredients as much as possible, such as onion rings from Garfield Heights. Quality is key.”
All packaging used at the restaurant will be from recycled material or will be recyclable.
Prior to its April 1 opening, the restaurant is looking to hire 10 part-time employees to work approximately 30-hours per week at the new location. Applications and more information are available online at www.ohioburgercompany.com.
