You don't have to admit to me whether or not you read the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy.
That secret can stay between you and your Kindle.
But just in case you did, you may want to check out these new wines by Shades author E.L.James, which were inspired by her books.
Here is what the press release on the wine is claiming:
"Fifty Shades of Grey Wine is inspired by the seductive relationship between Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the hit series Fifty Shades of Grey. The collection includes Red Satin and White Silk, sure to send your taste buds on a thrilling adventure. Personally crafted by world famous author E L James, the Fifty Shades of Grey Wine Collection is a perfect blend of naughty and nice."
Red Satin is a blend of Petite Sirah and Syrah with flavors of black cherry, cocoa powder, creamy caramel and vanilla, leather and clove spice, aged in a combination of new and neutral French oak barrels.
White Silk is a blend of Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. White Silk’s flavors include floral aromatics of lychee and honey, tempered by flavors of crisp grapefruit, mineral and lush pear with a faint hint of butterscotch. It was fermented cool and aged in stainless steel tanks.
Both areavailable for purchase at www.FiftyShadesWine.com and will be available in the United States in October 2013 at www.Wine.com and other retailers nationally for $17.99.
James personally blended the wine along with winemakers in California’s premium North Coast appellation, so that fans can experience her passion for wine that she showcased throughout the books.
Funny, it's not the wine I remember from those stories.
