Ex-Browns QB Gary Danielson gets his own bus

By Marla Published: September 13, 2011

Former Browns quarterback Gary Danielson, now the lead college football analyst for CBS Sports, may have designs on John Madden status.

The network announced today that Danielson will have an SEC on CBS Cruiser bus on site at every SEC game of the week.

The CBS cruiser will be parked outside the stadium and will be used for pre-game reports and interviews and a new interactive online show, "5th Quarter with Gary Danielson," which makes its debut Saturday in Gainesville, Fla., for the Tennessee-Florida showdown. The vehicle will also be used by announcers Verne Lundquist, Tracy Wolfson and Tony Barnhart.

The "5th Quarter" will allow fans to chat with Danielson after the game as he travels home on the bus. During the trip, he will also respond to fans on Twitter (@DanielsonCBS). Danielson's new ride will include four televisions, two satellite feeds and WiFi.
