Pitcher C.C. Sabathia of the New York Yankees will make his first appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman'' Wed., March 30 (11:35 p.m.), according to a press release from CBS.
The product of the Cleveland Indians farm system is expected to be the Yankees' opening day starter against Detroit on March 31. Sabathia was 21-7 with a 3.18 ERA last season.
Also scheduled to appear on March 30 are actor and comedian Norm MacDonald, along with a musical performance by Willie Nelson, Norah Jones and Wynton Marsalis.
