Elmer’s ProBond Advanced adhesive offers instructions on its website for making this back-lighted executive desk. The piece, designed by Peter Debelak of Soulcraft Woodshop and Gallery, has a modern feel and is made from wood, plexiglass and leather.
It’s not a project for a beginner, but someone with moderate woodworking skills should be able to achieve it. Power tools required are a circular saw, jigsaw, router and sander, preferably an orbital sander.
One word of caution: Read all the way through the instructions before you shop for materials to make sure you have everything you need. I noticed the lighting mechanism was left out of the supply list.
