Doll-size MRI machine alleviates young patients' fears
Here's a great idea for woodworkers looking to give back.
The Michigan Woodworkers' Guild of Royal Oak, Mich., was honored recently for community projects that include making a doll-size MRI machine for the Detroit Medical Center Children's Hospital of Michigan. The replica allows children who are scheduled for MRIs to put their dolls through the process, so they understand it better and aren't as afraid.
