Old-house fans, take note: A 200-year-old home in Tallmadge goes on the auction block this weekend.
The house, once known as the Beach House, was built in 1808 and expanded in 1850. It has its original black walnut and oak floors and some original windows, as well as a post and beam barn on the property.
An auction of the home's contents, including 19th-century furniture, starts at 10 a.m. at the house, 399 East Ave. The house goes up for auction at 11:30. You can read about the house and see photos here. Information on the aution of the home contents is here.
