Minimize caulk mess

By Mary Beth Breckenridge Published: September 24, 2012

Fine Homebuilding's Chuck Miller passes along a simple tip for minimizing the mess when you're smoothing caulk with your finger: Keep a cheap tablet of paper handy so you can wipe your finger on the top sheet. When the paper is full, tear it off and use the next sheet.
