Showroom to specialize in midcentury modern

By Mary Beth Breckenridge Published: March 28, 2013

News for fans of Mad Men-era design: The Ohio Design Centre in Beachwood is opening a new showroom Monday that will sell fine antiques and midcentury modern furniture and accessories.

The 1,400-square-foot showroom is a collaboration between Bello Design, which is already housed in the design center, and Spaces consignment store in Beachwood.

Among the showroom's offerings will be painted furniture, lighting and fine artwork from around the world.

The showroom will be open to the public. Although the design center used to be open only to interior decorators, builders and others in building-related trades, it has recently opened some of its showrooms to general consumers.
