About This Blog
Having computer trouble this morning. The innertubez dog has eaten my homework.
So now I'm pissed.
So instead, here are two weekend quotes for your consideration:
First, Sister Sarah of the Perpetually Uninformed.....
“Where is our commander in chief?” Palin said. “We’re talking now more new interventions. I say until we know what we’re doing, until we have a commander in chief who knows what he’s doing, well, let these radical Islamic countries who aren’t even respecting basic human rights, where both sides are slaughtering each other as they scream over an arbitrary red line, ‘Allah Akbar,’ I say until we have someone who knows what they’re doing, I say let Allah sort it out.”
That statement sounds a lot like what I've heard dozens of times before.....perhaps you have too....it goes like this: "let's kill them all (Muslims) and let god sort them out." I think that is what Ms. Palin was getting at, don't you?
Has there ever been a more spiteful, hateful, clueless ex-governor-vice-presidential candidate.....ever?
Someone mention hateful and spiteful?
And then up pops The Dick....
(Former VP, Dick) Cheney called the former defense contractor who leaked the programs, 29-year-old Edward Snowden, a "traitor" who violated the trust invested in him by the government and thereby dealt considerable harm to America's security.
"I think it's one of the worst occasions in my memory of somebody with access to classified information doing enormous damage to the national security interests of the United States," he said.
Or...hey....at least the "worst occasion" since The Dick and his Scooter (along with Armitage) leaked the name of a CIA agent in order to punish her husband for telling the truth about Cheney's lies and deceptions fraudulently leading Americans into his neo-con wet dream war of choice in Iraq.
Where did the illegal, warrantless wiretapping program which Edward Snowden has informed the world about originate? Where else? In Dick's office.....
"We set up this program back in the weeks after '01. We briefed members of Congress, chairmen and ranking members of the intelligence committees. We did it in my office, in the West Wing. Mike Hayden come in, George Tenet, I was there, and we'd give them the layout of what we were doing and what we were learning from it."
But Edward Snowden, The Dick says, is the "traitor."
