If there's anyone left who still thinks the Great Free Market Money Shufflers on Wall Street operate any differently from, say, just your average, everyday, run of the mill, criminals......they should take 4 minutes to watch this....

The signs have been there for some time now.

There was the Kangaroo Kourt that Republicans called the impeachment of William Jefferson Clinton. It seemed surrealistic at the time. That's because it was.

Seriously now....setting all snark aside....RNC Chairman Michael Steele deserves credit for speaking the truth about his own political party. Michael Steele deserves a standing ovation from the American people for being this honest.....

Sir Allen Stanford was investigated by the FBI and the SEC starting in 2008.

You see, Stanford was running a very illegal Ponzi scheme, you know, basically stealing peoples' money by the bushelful, like Wall Street Banksters but on a smaller scale.....when the FBI and the SEC started snooping around.

A corporation is just like an individual citizen...except, of course, when it's not....

Really...no joke.

So, I'm driving yesterday listening to Rush....I have to keep up with the far right's take on all things....and, you know, Rush is, like, Mr. Conservative, so I'm listening.

Early on when I first started blogging here at Ohio.com, I listed America's mainstream media as one of our nation's three most threatening problems. Since that time, our national media problem has only gotten worse. Corporate media, specifically but not exclusively, teevee media, has developed a permanent allergy, I guess, to sharing the truth with viewers.

Some may be thinking I'm referring to Fox News. Not in this case. Fox News is not a media outlet. Fox is a Republican Party advocacy/entertainment network.....a communications arm of the GOP. No one who watches or listens to Fox News expects to hear the truth about this or that event or story. Instead, loyal Fox viewers EXPECT to hear or see a Republican, conservative slant given to each and every story. Rarely are conservatives disappointed.

The 11% Ohio unemployment figure, as well as the national unemployment number of 9.7%, have come about because of crooked, irresponsible and unaccountable Big Banks.

Lower home values, lowered credit lines on those homes, and current tight credit have all come about because of crooked, irresponsible, unaccountable and deregulated Big Banks.

The phrase "too big to fail" has now become part of the political lingo. It originated when the largest banks and insurance companies in the country brought us to the brink of financial ruin.....and then were bailed out by government with huge loans of tax payer dollars. The talking point, or alleged consensus, was that if these irresponsible money shufflers were made to go through the same bankruptcy and dismantlement process as all other, you know, smaller banks,...the result would be a financial catastrophe, both nationally and internationally.

The consensus might well have been right....and, after all, who, really, wants to be known for not doing anything to prevent America's greatest Depression, right?

One thousand disgruntled-with-Obama Tea Partyers gathered in Akron last evening. Today, The Akron Beacon Journal gives that gathering front page status, dedicating quite a few column inches to reporting on the gathering. Fair enough. The event took place in downtown Akron.

At the Ohio.com link of the story there is a two minute Mike Cardew video of Akron Tea Party attendees being interviewed.

Tomorrow is Tax Day, April 15th.....and so that means it's time for more wild and wacky Tea Party revelry. Tea Party events are being planned for cities all across the country. The Kenyan-socialist, U.S. President Barack Obama, is still president.....and that means the Tea Party folks are still mad as hell.

It's kind of like when John Elway almost single-handedly defeated the Cleveland Browns back in the day. Browns fans hated Elway from that moment forward. Sore loserdom is a difficult emotional pill to simply swallow. Tea Partyers are still trying to choke the 2008 election down.

Recently on MSNBC's Hardball, I heard Chris Matthews claim that Lee Harvey Oswald was a "Castro lover". The context of Matthews' claim was a discussion about left and ring wing violence in America. Oswald was set forward as an example of left wing radical violence.....the implication being that Oswald was a communist or communist sympathizer....and that was why he allegedly assassinated President John Kennedy.

47 years after the assassination, and still conventional wisdom is that a "lone assassin", the "Castro lover", Lee Oswald killed JFK on November 22, 1963 in Dallas.

I've just finished reading a 900+ page book entitled, "Ultimate Sacrifice" written by Lamar Waldron, assisted by Thom Hartmann. I went through it at Barnes & Nobles a couple of months ago and thought it might be worth a look.

I was right.

President Obama signed an historic nuclear weapons reduction agreement with Russian leader Medvedev yesterday. Naturally, to Fox and Fiends, that means that Obama is purposely weakening the U.S. and welcoming our "enemies" to nuke us.....I mean, helles belles Loretta, what else could it mean?....

On the heels of David Frum's comments explaining that the Republican Party has been serving Fox News, rather than the other way around.....come the comments of Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK).

I caught a piece of the Dylan Ratigan show yesterday afternoon on MSNBC. He played a classified-but-leaked video from Iraq taken in 2007. Kudos to Ratigan for having the testicular fortitude to air such a controversial video. The video was originally leaked to the website, Wikileaks.org.

The video is disturbing. Fair warning and all that.

The Representative of God on Earth and the leader of the 1 billion strong Roman Catholic Church is a victim, very much like a Jewish Holocaust victim, because of the reporting of explosive information recently detailing the Roman Catholic Church's cover up of it's employee-priest's international terrorist campaign to rape, abuse and molest children under their control.

Reread that sentence...for the WTF value.

Americans have been told a bunch of stuff about the recently-passed health care reform legislation....much of it erroneous. Hopelessly corrupt corporate media have been responsible for spreading the ratings-boosting "controversy"....but setting that aside for now...what is it that the GOP, the T-Baggers, and the Fox-Crack-Addicts have really been telling us?

Remember the good ole' days when presidential candidate, Barack Obama, was described by less-than-honest Republicans and conservatives as the "most liberal senator in the Senate?" Remember that?

This liberal is still waiting for a few of those, you know, "green shoots", of new liberal goverance in America, to sprout. I'm relatively sure at this point that I'll be waiting a long time.
