Conservatism's Lowest Lifeform: Rush Limbaugh

By The Reverend Published: August 13, 2014

A caller to Rush Limbaugh's show yesterday was upset that corporate media "folks" were spending too much time talking about the suicide of Robin Williams.

Caller: "I just feel like they're making a huge deal about this when there's so much other news like Iraq, Israel, Missouri, et cetera, that they should be focusing on. My question is, what do you think the political reason for their doing this is?"

Limbaugh: "Well, interesting question. You know, I'm the guy that says there's politics in everything and you've gotta be able to spot it, and you're right, there is here."

I listen to Limbaugh on a semi-regular basis....just for the fun of it. What I have found to be the hate-radio jock's biggest shortcoming is....projection. Rush has a very serious, perhaps fatal, case of projection. Projection is a mindset where a person projects onto others, usually opponents, the attributes of the person doing the projecting.

I've heard Limbaugh numerous times explain how "everything Democrats and progressives do or say is political in nature and purpose" matter what it is. The truth is that Limbaugh, himself, doesn't utter a word that isn't meant to be political. Daily, Limbaugh projects his own mindset onto his political opponents.

Limbaugh's case of projection has reached such extremes that he felt comfortable stating that Robin Williams own suicide was just another example of "politics in everything."

"He had everything, everything that you would think would make you happy. But it didn't." Now, what is the left's worldview in general? What is it? If you had to attach not a philosophy but an attitude to a leftist worldview, it's one of pessimism and darkness, sadness. They're never happy, are they? They're always angry about something. No matter what they get, they're always angry."

I could mention here that it takes a genuine prick to project political views onto a man who recently committed suicide...but I won't.

"....right here there's a story on the Fox News website. Do you know, it says right here, that the real reasons that Robin Williams killed himself are he was embarrassed at having to take television roles after a sterling movie career."

So, because Williams was a progressive....and progressives are never satisfied, always wanting more....and Williams was "embarrassed" at the prospect of doing teevee work....he hung an example of where liberalism leads it's adherents.

That is how Limbaugh "reports" the news every week day for three hours. The news, no matter what it is, is quickly distilled down by Rush to meet his own projection needs. Every story's common denominator is the utter failure of liberalism in America.

Here again, Limbaugh's projection-ridden, diseased mind forces him to project the ugly failures of conservatism onto liberalism. He does so to keep the truth away from his cult followers. The truth that American conservatism has nothing to offer a modern people....except misery and sorrow.

The reason Limbaugh must portray all news accounts as a failure of progressive policies is because conservative policies have revealed themselves to be dismal failures. Rush is a misdirection communicator. A misdirection communicator who long ago lost any capacity to experience shame.

Now, the hellhole of his own mind has led him to blame progressive politics and policies for the suicide of a beloved American actor/comedian who had a history of substance abuse and depression.

I'm not projecting when I say that Rush Limbaugh is the lowest form of conservative life in America.
