Allow me to get this out first....

I have not seen American conservatives behave so overtly racially in quite some time. I was a teenager in the 60's and saw the many ugly teevee pictures and newspaper headlines when racist whites were trying to keep American blacks from being granted equal rights. It was ugly.

Just as L'il Jimmy O'Keefe of pimp dress-up fame was rewarded with instant wingnut celebrity by Fox, conservative propaganda media and many Republicans, after he deceived viewers with his highly edited ACORN videos....so too, now, Andrew Breitbart.

Which proves that if you are a con artist, racist, deceiver without shame.....the Republican Party can raise money from conservative supporters of your celebrity status.

WikiLeaks has released 92,000 classified reports on America's war in Afghanistan. The reports are from January 2004 through December 2009.

While I'm certain that America's right will call for an assassination team to take out the proprietors of WikiLeaks as enemies of the empire.....the web site has actually done America a favor.

Earlier in the week I referred to Sister Sarah's humorous Tweet about "refutiating" the building of a mosque within a couple blocks of Ground Zero.

The feedback I received, as I understood it, was that building a mosque so close to Ground Zero would be insensitive to New Yorkers, 9-11 victims families, and super-patriots everywhere.

You simply have to love it.

Yesterday it was conservatives inciting the political lynching of Obama administration blacks through the evil, bastardizing of a video tape by the slimy, slug, Andrew Breitbart.

Today, it's a new episode of Inciting Violence Against Liberals with moderator Glenn Beck.

They came for Van Jones with General Glenn Beck leading the insurgent armies of hate. What had Jones done? His was the face of a young, brilliant, enthusiastic talent for America's democracy...but his face was black, just like America's new president.

The lynching went quickly in Van Jones' case....he stepped away without a fight in order to protect a newbee black president from immediate controversy. But make no mistake....it was a modern lynching....and America's Most Dangerous Man, Glenn Beck, knotted the noose.

Or..Say it ain't so, you bin-Laden Schmoes.

Sarah, keeping it real...

Here are a few thoughts from a standard-issue Tea Partier. See if you tend to agree with what Ron Wright of Kansas City says about blacks in America....

Yes, the NAACP came out with a statement encouraging the Tea Party groups to denounce any racist elements in their midst. The NAACP did not say that the Tea Party movement was motivated by racism.....only that the occasional racist-flavored display seen at T-Party events be condemned.

Naturally, Tea Party leaders and members flipped the NAACP the bird.

Okay. The strategy has been clear for over a year and a half.

Erase reality. Never allow reality to see the light of day, at least not from mass corporate media sources. Feature the 'controversy', never explain what is true and what isn't. Air as often as possible the wildest statements from the farthest-right conservative celebrities, constantly mine those wildest of statements for nuggets of wisdom and then, point to poll results from consumers of those 24/7 looped "news" segments as evidence that Obama and the Democrats are in a lot of trouble.

Yesterday, I blogged about the apparent insanity, (or very, very bad case of denial), that Arizona Senator, Jon Kyl expressed with his Republican belief that deep tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans do not EVER need offset with spending cuts.

Senate Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell and once-nominee for Obama's Commerce Department, New Hampshire Senator, Judd Gregg...have now chimed in....and it's official.

If a political gaffe today is when a politician accidentally speaks the truth...then this qualifies.

The corn and the pone are still thickly in evidence, but it's plain to see that Sarah has finally hired a few video production professionals to window dress the absurdity that surrounds any blathering which takes her seriously.

I have long understood that all the craziness, insanity really, that we've witnessed over the last 18 months, all the corporate media bobble heading about such things as the economic stimulus, national health care, and financial reform could be reduced down to one common and simple denominator....

The Bush-Cheney tax cuts end in 2011.

Conservatives often rail against government coming to the aid of Americans down on their luck. Conservatives despise welfare....at least government welfare granted to poor, vulnerable, jobless, or uninsured Americans. These conservatives can be Republican or Democrat, as the recent Blue Dog Democrats vote to reject any more unemployment compensation to still unemployed workers....demonstrates.

These same poor-and-unemployed-bashing American conservatives, however, really, really like government assistance to filthy-rich multi-national oil corporations.

The austerity gods are effing ignorant....or duplicitous...or perhaps both.....
