Mitt Romney is of my generation. He is 65 years old, I am 62. Last week Romney nervously responded to questions about his high school days and bullying, specifically, Mitt was asked about an alleged "prank" when Mitt and his buddies chased, pinned and held down, and then cut another male classmate's long, bleach-blonde hair.
High school Mitt was alleged to have said that the victim of the hair-cutting "can't look like that", "that's wrong", "just look at him." The victim of Mitt and his buddies "wilding"
There's been an effup in the blog protocol. I'm so sick of this sh*t. The title here should be "Long Hair in the 60's".
Now, I don;t have enough time to rewrite the whole damn thing....so here's what Mitt said about cutting his classmate's hair....
"I tell you I certainly believe that I..thought the fella was homosexual. That was the furthest thing from our minds back in the 1960's. So that was not the case. But as to pranks that were played back then, I don;t remember them all but again, high school days....if I did stupid things I'm afraid I gotta say sorry for it."
It's sorry alright.
My point here is that Romney is lying about long hair on males and accusations of homosexuality. I was there in the 60's. The two most definitely were linked...and often. And most definitely, that's how Romney and his buds looked at it as well. But today, Mitt must lie about it. Not sure why, really. Perhaps he just can't help himself. Habitual liar and all.
