Congressional Black Caucus bus tour stopping in Akron
A Congressional Black Caucus "Get Out the Vote" bus tour will kickoff this afternoon with a stop in Akron.
U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge, who is unopposed in the Nov. 6 election and will be a new representative for part of Akron, is among the Congressional members on the tour.
The bus tour will stop at Greater Bethel Baptist Church, 404 S. Arlington St. in Akron at 1:30 p.m. The event will be hosted by Fudge and the Rev. Melford Elliott.
The tour will make stops Saturday and Sunday in Columbus and Cleveland.
