Fisher campaigning for 27 hours, including local stops
Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher, an U.S. Senate candidate, plans to campaign for 27 hours straight, including stops in Kent, Barberton and Copley Township.
Fisher will begin his ``Ohio Never Sleeps'' tour at 6:15 p.m. today, with several stops in Columbus, including doing karoke and bowling. His early Thursday stops will include a Ford plant, a bus stop and an elementary school, all in the Cleveland area.
Fisher will meet with Kent State University's college democrats at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the university. He will finish his tour with stops at the Barberton Elephant Roast at 6:30 p.m. at the Sokol Club, 888 W. Hopocan Ave. in Barberton and a Tri-County Regional Labor Council event at 7:30 p.m. at St. George Fellowship Centre, 3204 Ridgewood Road in Copley Township.
