Healy-Abrams airs first TV ad in 7th-district race

By Stephanie Warsmith Published: September 4, 2012

Joyce Healy-Abrams, the Democratic candidate for the 7th Congressional District, began airing her first television broadcast ad today in the Cleveland market.

The ad highlights the background of Healy-Abrams, a first time candidate and small-business owner from Canton.

"Joyce Healy-Abrams has balanced budgets and created jobs," a narrator says in the 30-second spot. "In Congress, she'll put the experience of a remarkable life into action."

Healy-Abrams is challenging U.S. Rep. Bob Gibbs for the newly drawn 7th-district seat, which is made up of all or parts of 10 counties, including Medina and Stark counties.
