AKRON:Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a potential GOP presidential candidate in 2012, is the featured speaker during the Summit County Republican Party's annual Lincoln Day Dinner.

The dinner is April 9 at the Quaker Square Inn, 135 S. Broadway. A social hour will start at 6.

Huckabee will sign copies of his latest book, A Simple Government, from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.

A regular Fox News commentator, Huckabee is expected to announce this summer whether he will run for president.

Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor will discuss Gov. John Kasich's reforms.

Last year, more than 1,100 people attended the dinner, which is the party's major fundraiser.

Tickets are $50 each and are available by calling 330-434-9151.
