Local debate watch parties planned for tonight
Local Democratic watch parties are planned for the second and final gubernatorial debate, which will be at 8 p.m. tonight.
Voluneers are invited to help with phone banks and then watch the debate between Gov. Ted Strickland and former Congresman John Kasich, which will be streamed live online on Toledo's WTOL.
The local watch parties will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 184 Currie Hall Parkway, Suite 5 in Kent; from 5 to 9 p.m. at 4220 12th St. N.W. in Canton; and from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at 112 N. Court St. in Medina.
The events are sponsored by Organizing for America Ohio and the Ohio Democratic Party.
