Outsiders spending big to influence Ohio voters

The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting today that Congressional campaigns are getting $3.7 million in outside help in the hotly contested Ohio races.

The Boccieri-Renacci battle for the 16th Congressional seat takes the money cake. About $2 million alone has been spent on opposition attacks alone.

The Plain Dealer said the outside negative advertising in the 16th could rank it 8th in the nation.
