Politico says outlook getting bleaker for Democrats
Politico's congressional correspondent James Hohmann says that the concensus among analysts and pundits over the weekend is that money and polls are moving in the direction of a Republican rout.
In the eyes of the experts, the House Democratic majority most likely won't survive Nov. 2, with political handicappers expanding their predictions to envision the possibility of a Democratic wipeout.
The Senate, however, may remain in the hands of the Democrats, Hohmann's analysis suggests.
