Mitt Romney released his first-state specific television spot Friday and it focused on Ohio.
The positive ad will run statewide, according to Chris Maloney, the Ohio spokesman for the presumed GOP presidential candidate.
Romney pledges in his first 100 days in office to demand a level playing field with China and repeal regulations that are "strangling the energy industry and costing jobs."
For Ohio, Romney taking office will mean "a better place to do business as we see more factories and jobs coming back," the ad says.
President Barack Obama's first state-specific spot, released a few months ago, also centered on Ohio, talking about the auto industry. It was released in Toledo and Dayton.
