Rubio speaking at Fairlawn event
Sen. Marco Rubio will be the keynote speaker at the Ohio Christian Alliance’s Freedom Banquet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Akron/Fairlawn Hilton, 3180 W. Market St.
Rubio, of Florida, will discuss Mitt Romney’s credentials, family values and faith, according to a Romney spokesperson.
Rubio recently gained prominence with his remarks at the GOP convention.
Tickets are $60 a piece and are available at the group’s website, http://ohioca.org/.
Rubio will also appear at a rally for Romney at 3 p.m. Monday in Columbus.
