Strickland to stop at Akron business
Gov. Ted Strickland will visit an Akron business this afternoon as part of a three-stop tour of companies in different cities.
Strickland and Yvette McGee Brown, his running mate, will visit Akron Polymer Systems, 2990 Gilchrist Road, at 12:30 p.m. The also will stop by businesses in Oberlin and Mansfield.
Strickland plans to highlight ``his record of growing Ohio's economy from the ground up,'' according to his campaign.
The governor is trailing in the polls behind former Congressman John Kasich, his Republican challenger.
