Summit County Executive Pry to offer advice to Cuyahoga leaders

Summit County Executive Russ Pry will offer some advice Wednesday to Cuyahoga County leaders as they make the transition to a charter form of government.

Pry will serve on a panel from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Corporate Club Luncheon at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights for a dicussion about county reform.

Other panelists are: Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason and former Allegheny County Chief Executive James C. Roddey. WEWS news anchor Leon Bibb will moderate.

Pry and Roddey are expected to talk about the challenges ahead for Cuyahoga, the pros and cons of charter governments and offer their advice.

Summit County is the only county in Ohio using the charter form of government. Cuyahoga County will soon join Summit as voters elect new leaders this fall.
