Summit Dems give awards
Summit County Democrats recognized some of their own during their largest annual fundraising dinner this week.
Those who received 2012 awards were: David Horner, Democrat of the Year; Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer, Jane Quine Democrat of the Year; Patrick Bravo, Young Democrat of the Year; and Thomas Townsend and Jackie DeBose, Chair's Distinguished Service Awards.
The Madeline Bozzelli Democrat Lifetime Achievement Award went to the Akron Sixth Ward's Democratic Women's Club, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.
