Teacher unions join campaigns, Sutton to benefit
The Caucus, a New York Times politics and government blog, is reporting that the nation's teachers unions are joining the political frey with millions for television.
One of the next beneficiaries will be the Akron area's Betty Sutton, the incumbent Democrat in the 13th Congressional district, who is in a tight race with Northeast Ohio businessman Tom Ganley.

The first round of television advertisements began airing today in Arizona, for Representative Harry Mitchell, a former high school teacher, and in Ohio for Representative Betty Sutton.
