U.S. Rep. Pat Tiberi will speak at the Summit County Republican Party's annual Lincoln Day Dinner this year.
Tiberi is a seven-term Congressman from the Columbus area who took over Gov. John Kasich's Congressional seat. He serves on the powerful Ways and Means Committee.
"He is also a compelling speaker and the perfect guest to get our blood racing for the election season ahead," Summit County GOP Chairman Alex Arshinkoff said in a recent letter about the dinner.
The dinner will be Saturday May 3 at Quaker Station, 135 S. Broadway in Akron. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a social hour and cash bar, followed by the dinner and program.
The county's Lincoln Day Dinner is traditionally one of the largest in the state.
Tickets are $50 each. For tickets or more information, call the GOP headquarters at 330-434-9151.
