U.S. Rep. Betty Sutton will attend the opening of the Medina County Democratic Party's campaign headquarters at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Sutton is among the candidates who will speak at the opening of the 689 Liberty St. office. She will discuss "issues important in the November election and why the stakes have never been so high for Ohio's working families," according to a news release from the campaign.
Sutton, D-Copley, is facing off against U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci, R-Wadsworth, in a battle for the 16th Congressional district. The two were thrown into the same district by the redrawing of boundaries after the census.
